These are pictures of Nick's first Buick, which he restored, single-handedly as a teenager. Here is what it looks like today, with the paintjob from it's restoration, which was about 20 years ago.

Before Photo
This is an original, classic 1969 Buick GS 400 4-speed, convertible equipped with factory air-conditioning, power windows, disc brakes, and a console. This car received a complete restoration by our facility. The body was completely disassembled and submerged in an acid wash tank to remove all the rust and contaminants. The body required metal repairing to the rear quarter panels, wheel wells, section of the trunk floor, complete windshield frame, and repair of the floor of the four speed tunnel. We replaced all the metal by cutting apart donor parts cars and fabricating our own pieces. Fenders and doors were replaced with rust free parts and NOS pieces. The complete body was then assembled and mocked up prior to paint to ensure proper fit and alignment of all body panels and convertible top. The car was then primed and refinished with base coat, clear coat, DuPont products, then sanded and polished to a high gloss finish. It was then completely reassembled to factory appearance.
