Question:
1. Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
Answer:
No, you do not need an appointment to get an estimate. You can simply just arrive anytime between 8AM and 5PM, with your car, and receive a free estimate. We do recommend, however, that you bring an in a copy of your owners card or registration. This is because we use your VIN number in our computer program, which allows us to figure out the parts needed to repair your vehicle.
*We do not share your information with any database or insurance company.*
Question:
2. Do you have rental cars available?
Answer:
No, unfortunately we do not hold rental cars on site, but we are affiliated with car rental agencies, such as Kulp and Enterprise, that will drop your rental car here and pick-up your rental car when you pick up your repaired car. We work with these companies, and with you, in order to allow for as little hassle as possible.
Question:
3. Do I have to use the body shop that my insurance company suggests?
Answer:
No, you are allowed to use any body shop for your repairs. It is unlawful for any insurance company to attempt to "steer" you to one of their network shops. Although we are a network shop for numerous insurance companies we give the same lifetime warranty to a customer pay job as to an insurance claim. Any reputable shop should guarantee their work, which we do.
Question:
4. "There are terms on my estimate which I don't understand, what do they mean?"
Answer:
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, which is Ford, Chevrolet, Nissan, BMW, etc.
LKQ represents Like Kind Quality, these are used parts from a recycle yard. The used parts a body shop receives are required to be insurance quality, which means they may only have very minor damage, which would be repaired before being used on your vehicle.
A/M stands for After Market. They're generic forms of the OEM parts.
R&I means remove and install. For example, when we have to paint a door we must first remove the outer handle and the mirror, and then reinstall it. This is to ensure your car does not receive tapelines, missed spots, or get paint where it should not be.
Blnd stands for blend. This is the process which we do to ensure that the paint matches the rest of your car. We blend the paint into the next section to ensure the car receives a seamless match.
Question:
5. How much would it be to repair my car?
Answer:
Unfortunately there are too many variables to be able to tell you how much it would cost to fix your car over the phone or internet. We must be able to physically see it and we will have one of our appraisers to look at it. You can bring your car in any time from 8AM to 5PM and receive a free estimate which will have the estimated price and wait time on it.
Question:
6. What if your estimate differs from my insurance company's?
Answer:
Occasionally there will be small differences between our estimate and that of your insurance company's. We will work with your insurance company to resolve any differences and come to a final estimate.
Question:
7. Can I pay for the repairs with debit/credit?
Answer:
Unfortunately we cannot accept credit or debit, although, we do accept cash or personal checks. We apologize if this were to cause any inconvenience.
